Photo story – We are family
In Sapa, families and communities are tightly knit. The bonds are forged early and nurtured to last a lifetime. Pictured here is a very young family – a 17 year old mother, her 19 year old husband and their beautiful new born. This is a portrait of their typical day – taking turns to work in the tribes rice fields and spending time nurturing their child. And when both of them need a break, there is always someone from the…

Window seat – Photography
Of all the people availing the road transport in India, happiest are those who manage a window seat :). This “privileged” lot guarantee for themselves a more peaceful ride – albeitĀ lesser shoving, more breathing space and reduced chances of people asking them to āadjustā a little or having to carry a strangers child on their lap :D. Whitewashed chapel – Travel diary
This picture was taken just beyond the entrance of fort Cabo De Rama, marking the boundary to a chapel. Although the fort forms a part of the tourist āto visitā spots, there is not much here than unimpressive ruins. The road trip however is scenic and the panorama from the fort is also nice. Go here if you have plenty of time to spare and need a break from the beach – which, I believe is highly unlikely. š
