Last week I was lucky enough to win a space in the luxury gift wrapping workshop that was conducted by Wrapistry in collaboration with High Heel Confidential.
I entered the contest on impulse, triggered by a thought to understand the business and meet the enterprising lady behind it all. The workshop slot was a definite bonus, and one that I will cherish for a long time.
The workshop which felt more like an evening out with some incredibly talented and beautiful ladies included techniques and tricks to wrap different gift box shapes and adding that special touch with bow variations.
Towards the end of the evening, I felt renewed love and respect for the craft and had made up my mind to not just give fabulous handmade gifts to the ones I love – but also wrap them up perfectly – the very thought of the look on the recipients face is making me slightly giddy with happiness 🙂 .
I would recommend Wrapistry to all who would want to add an additional dimension of thought and beauty to the gifts they give – doesn’t matter if it is savagely attacked and all torn up in the end :).
