This is the first pair of statement earrings that I ever purchased.
I bought them on impulse at a weekend market in Malaysia way back in 2009, and have paired them with genie pants, skirts, dresses and even shorts.
My earring collection has grown since then – additions in varied sizes, shapes and material – but this pair has been my forever, beach vacation companion.
Many happy memories from around the time I bought these earrings and even some from when this picture was taken :).
Despite its fairly common design (versions of which can be found easily in the fashion streets of Delhi and Bombay) these earrings will always be special to me, and I hope to retain them forever :).
