The temples of Angkor are spread out, the distance between them sometimes spanning several kilometers.
In between these, there is thick vegetation, the river flowing through and plenty of ruins yet to be factored and restored.
Hence, it isn’t uncommon to encounter the random scorpion, snake, a troop of monkey’s or an occasional ‘temple pet’.
