Every hero’s story must be of triumph – Poem

A hero who wakes up, losing blood

Everyone wants to hear of triumph
Especially when there is a hero in the story

So let me do this the correct way then
There will be pain
But it will come much later
There will be love
And that needs to be now
Love, love, love and kisses in seas of glowing plankton

You have heard this story, many times before
You know, when heaven is here
And the hugs carry no restrain
The days are like songs playing on radio,
on a beautiful drive back home
And kisses, feel like sweets for the sweet

But then we forget, our hero is losing blood
When she fell
She shed a tear too many
A hero she wakes, losing blood
Attempts a smile, to say “We’ll be OK”
